Recently, a man was diagnosed with palate cancer and had to have surgery to have his upper jaw removed. I'm not sure if you know what would happen if you had your upper jaw removed. Your speech, eating, and appearance would be altered, which is exactly what happened to this man. Dentists would not help them because of the severity of his situation which left this poor man helpless. at this point, a wonderful company called "Osteo3D" got involved. They created an artificial upper jaw and surgically put it in this man's face. He is now able talk and eat as well as he could before. Technology today is not just used for Apple IPhones and the wonderful new laptops with high-speed internet. Technology is actually used for people in need like this man.
